Eyeballs (funky eyes in different colors)

Lotta Balls is a free source of GIF spheres for use on web pages. All the images were generated by me, Janette Bradley.

Copy and use the balls as much as you want.

Splat Balls (balls in paint splatters)

All I ask is:

Please acknowledge where the balls came from and put a link back to

Also, please read the conditions on use

Medium Fancies (small to medium balls with patterns on them)

If you need a graphic that is not here, let me know. I can sometimes produce what you need, usually free, so you'll have to wait until I have time. Send mail to:

Black backgrounds (balls with a black background)

All graphics are GIF at 256 colors, saved with an adaptive palette. Most will look good even with reduced colors. By reducing the colors the files become smaller and will be faster loading. If you have a Mac, I recommend Debabelizer for file conversion/reductions, Adobe Photoshop is available for most platforms, and for an inexpensive solution try PaintShop Pro for Windows, which you can download from the Web.

Star Balls (medium balls with stars on them; 1 balll is on black background

Most balls are anti-aliased against a white background. Anti-aliased means that the pixels on the outer edge of the balls fade to white. So if you use these balls on a dark background they will look edged in white. I am working on balls that are anti-aliased to other background colors (some for black are already up) and some balls without anti-aliasing. In the meantime you can use these balls by taking a ball into your paint program and selecting just the center of the ball. This will shave off the pixels on the outer edges.

Oval Balls (9 ovals 2 with text, useful for buttons)

WARNING: If you are using a modem, you might want to turn off autoload images.

Many pages have a "lotta" images and will take a long time to load. Where there are numerous balls, I've made some attempt to sort by colors, so you can just look at the ones that you might want.

Large Yellow/Black Fancies (large fancy balls based on yellow and black)
